My name is Jenn.  

I am the owner + creator behind Merrily Yours. 

M.Y. Story:

I’ve been creating since I was a child. As a descendent of generations of crafters you could say it is truly in my blood.

I have the loveliest memories of hand-knit dinosaur sweater vests and hand-sewn doll clothes. My childhood living room displayed an extensive collection of needlework pieces all from the hands of my Mom. My Oma (Grandmother) is a strict knitter + crochet master; she learned the craft as a child + has since made countless blankets, hats + wearable items. I’ve always been in awe of her natural craftsmanship + my most cherished memories are of the days when we worked on latch-hooked rugs, plush dolls + animals, finishing the day with silly bedtime stories told by my plush friends.

I naturally took to creating personalized gifts from poems to handmade cards + decorations at a young age. So began my lifetime love for crafts, gifting + my eternal adoration for plush.

As an adult I rediscovered my true love for crafting handmade gifts eventually leading to the launch of Merrily Yours. I produced the Mini Car Plush for the first Christmas celebrated with my boyfriend, Alex. I wanted to make something incredibly special + unique to show my love for him so I modeled the car after his beloved 1971 Mini Car. It was the perfect gift because it reflected a piece of Alex's life. I soon realized that the best gifts of all are always those that really capture the spirit of the person receiving them.

To me there is no greater feeling than giving a loved one a thoughtful gift. One meant only for them + watching as the surprise is unveiled for the first time.
